In a post on X released Thursday, Tinubu extended heartfelt condolences on behalf of Nigeria to the families of the victims, the American people, and all those affected by the horrific tragedy.

His message comes as the United States grapples with the aftermath of the shocking aviation disaster that saw an American Airlines passenger jet collide with a military helicopter, resulting in significant loss of life.

“I am deeply saddened by the tragic incident in Washington, D.C.,” Tinubu wrote.
