Ethiopia Earns Over $3 Billion on Exportation of Agricultural Products, Others

From Ethiopia, CEOAFRICA.com gathered that the national earning of the country from the export of over 9.6 tons of items which include coffee, chat, live animals, vegetables and fruits, flowers, food and beverage, tea, cereals, oil seeds, spices, honey and foot wear among the products sent abroad last year exceeds the one of previous year with a sum of $59.8 million.

The products, according to analysis, were exported to 133 countries including Somalia, China, Germany, Netherlands, Saudi Arabia, Switzerland and U.S.A and many more.

Also, the agricultural products marketing and promotion agency of Tigray State reported an earning of over 171 million US dollars through export of agricultural outputs and textiles in the concluded budget year. The amount was earned by Tigrai by exporting sesame, vegetables, honey, incense, textiles as well as leather and leather products among others.
