A notable Nigerian politician, businessman, and entrepreneur, Ubah served as a Senator representing the Anambra South senatorial district from 2019 until his untimely passing in 2024. Born on December 3, 1971, in the Nnewi region of Anambra State, Ubah rose to prominence as a successful entrepreneur and established himself in various sectors. He was the founder of The Nigerian Daily Newspaper, a widely read daily publication in Nigeria that provided a platform for insightful discourse on national issues.

As the CEO of Capital Oil, a company he launched in 2001, Ubah became a significant player in Nigeria’s oil and energy sector, contributing to the growth of the country's economy. His entrepreneurial journey was marked by innovation and resilience, establishing Capital Oil as a reputable name in the industry.

Ubah was also passionate about sports, being the owner of Ifeanyi Ubah Football Club, a professional football club in the Nigerian Premier League.
