FEC DECLARES 5YRS IMPRISONMENT FOR EXAM OFFENDERS

The Federal Executive Council (FEC), has on Wednesday, declare that 5yrs imprisonment awaits any victim that contravenes the laws guiding West African Examination Certificate (WAEC).
CEOAFRICA news desk gathered that the new sanction is a sequel to an enactment act to amend the WAEC Act brought before the council and that the council having declared the new sanction, directed the Ministry of Justice to take further necessary action on the subject.
According to the comments by Minister of Education, Professor Ruqayyatu Rufai, alongside the Ministers of Health, Onyebuchi Chukwu; Environment, Hadiza Mailafia and Minister Information, Labaran Maku, the resolution was to give effect to the revised convention of WAEC, in Nigeria.
