As we continue our journey with 53 days remaining before the 44th Annual International Scientific Conference of the Association of Community Pharmacists of Nigeria (ACPN), we shine a spotlight on Allen Ifechukwu Onyema CON, a remarkable Nigerian lawyer and entrepreneur whose impactful work in the aviation sector resonates far beyond the skies.

As the Chief Executive Officer of Air Peace Limited, which he founded in 2013, Onyema has established himself as a visionary leader within the airline industry. His commitment to community welfare became particularly evident in September 2019, when he organized a humanitarian mission to evacuate stranded Nigerians from South Africa amidst xenophobic attacks. This courageous initiative led to the safe repatriation of over 600 Nigerians, earning him praise from both the Nigerian government and the international community.

Allen Onyema's contributions extend beyond the aviation sector; he has been recognized with multiple honors for his philanthropy and humanitarian efforts. In February 2025, Federal University Oye Ekiti (FUOYE) awarded him an honorary doctorate degree, acknowledging his significant impact in both business and philanthropy.

Hailing from Mbosi in Ihiala LGA of Anambra State, Onyema exemplifies the spirit of the state, often referred to as the “light of the nation.” His achievements reflect the aspirations of IFEADIGO, meaning “light has come,” a theme that weaves through the fabric of our upcoming conference.

Scheduled for July 22 to 27, 2025, at the International Conference Center in Awka, Anambra, IFEADIGO 2025 will explore the theme “Technology Integration and Personalized Care: The Future of Community Pharmacists’ Practice in Nigeria.” Just as Onyema has integrated humanitarianism into business, our conference will focus on integrating technology to enhance healthcare delivery.
