President Goodluck Jonathan has on Wednesday condemned the growing prevalence of indiscipline among Nigerian workers.

President GoodLuck Jonathan expressed this concern while inaugurating the National Assembly Service Commission (NASC) in Abuja, indicating that indiscipline was one of the major challenges facing the country.

He noted that people don’t take their responsibilities seriously in most cases while mandating the newly inaugurated commission to make sure that people are disciplined where they need to be disciplined.

He urged the commission to ensure people get due treatment without any fear or favour, adding that anything short of discipline spells corruption.

He, therefore, called on members of the Civil Service Commission, NASC, and the Local Government Service Commission to ensure that workers strictly adhered to the rule and regulations of the civil service.
