Transforming Healthcare: NAIP's 28th Annual Conference to Ignite Innovation in Nigeria's Pharmaceutical Industry

The Association of Industrial Pharmacists of Nigeria (NAIP) is thrilled to announce its 28th Annual National Conference, taking place from June 23 to June 27, 2025, at The Citadel in Ikeja, Lagos. Themed "Scale, Innovation, and Transformation of the Nigerian Pharmaceutical Industry" (SIT 2025), this conference will focus on critical advancements and pressing challenges within the pharmaceutical sector.

The event will bring together industry leaders, policymakers, academics, and practitioners to discuss strategies for scaling operations, fostering innovation, and transforming the landscape of the Nigerian pharmaceutical industry. Dr. Ifeanyi Okoye, MD/CEO of Juhel Nigeria Ltd, will serve as the Chairman of the opening ceremony, while Dr. Margaret Ilomuanya of the Department of Pharmaceutics at the University of Lagos will deliver the keynote address.

Pharm. Tanko Ayuba, President of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN), will be the Chief Host, and Pharm. Ken Onuegbu, National Chairman of NAIP, will act as the Host. Additionally, Pharm. Jude Abonu, Chairman of the Conference Planning Committee, will oversee the event.

Pharm. Onuegbu expressed his enthusiasm for the conference, stating, “This gathering will represent a critical forum for sharing insights and ideas that can drive the pharmaceutical sector forward. Collaboration and innovation are essential for improving healthcare delivery and ensuring the sustainability of our industry.”

The conference will feature prominent speakers who will address various contemporary issues and innovative practices in pharmaceuticals, including regulatory frameworks, manufacturing practices, and the integration of new technologies.
