
WAFCON: Benue Gov Alia rewards Super Falcons player with N50 million, a three-bedroom flat and renames street after her

Benue State Governor Hyacinth Alia hosted a state dinner last night, August 7, in honour of Francisca Mlumun Ordega, a Super Falcons player and indigene of the state. The dinner was held to recognise her contributions to the female football team that recently secured its 10th title at the Women's African Cup of Nations (WAFCON).
During the dinner ceremony, the governor announced a N50 million gift to Francisca and presented her with a three-bedroom flat. He also declared that a street in the state would be renamed in her honour.
Guests at the dinner included music star2Face Idibia, who is also an indigene of the state.
