The Commonwealth Secretary-General, Mr. Kamalesh Sharma has named the chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Professor Attahiru Jega, among multilateral body’s Observer Mission to the Maldives presidential election holding today.

CEOAFRICA news desk got this tip as contained in a statement signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the INEC boss, Mr Kayode Idowu and made available to journalists in Abuja on Friday.

However, Maldives is an island country located in the Indian Ocean south of India’s Lakshadweep region, near Sri Lanka.
