70 LANDLORDS PROSECUTED IN EKITI STATE OVER HOUSES WITHOUT TOILETS

Over 70 landlords have been arrested and prosecuted by Ekiti State Government in the last two months for not providing toilets in their house.

This was disclosed by the State Director of Environment and Sanitation, Mr. Tunde Balogun while speaking to newsmen in Ado-Ekiti on Friday.

CEOAFRICA news desk gathered according the statement of Balogun that the affected landlords were arrested under the Ekiti State Environmental and Sanitation Law, 2004 as well as Environmental Regulations 2009 as amended.

The director however announced that the government wishes the people change from their old habits that are inimical and key into the developmental agenda.
