The House of Representatives has adopted the report on the proposed establishment of state police and approved 18 constitutional amendment clauses.

The decision was taken during Thursday’s plenary session presided over by the Speaker of the House, Tajudeen Abbas.

The approved provisions are among a series of recommendations considered by lawmakers as part of the ongoing constitutional review process aimed at enhancing governance, improving security, and strengthening key institutions across the country.
