The last ten teams that would play the final round of qualification for the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil has been decided with group matches concluded yesterday across various centres.

Before the last round of matches were played, only Algeria, Egypt and Cote D’Ivoire have booked their places at the final play-off where the final five qualifiers would be determined.

However, African Champions Nigeria, Cameroun, Senegal, Burkina Faso, Ghana, Cape Verde and Ethiopia booked the final remaining slots to complete the required ten teams for the last play-off rounds.

Teams with highest ranking position on FIFA/Coca Cola Monthly ranking would be seeded, while lower ranked teams would face them.

Cameroon claimed the 10th and final place in Africa’s final qualifying round for the 2014 World Cup by beating Libya 1-0 in a winner-takes-all showdown played in Yaounde on Sunday.
