A Judge in Ado-Ekiti Magistrate Court in Ekiti-State has remanded one Akintunde Omotehinde, 27, in Prison custody for allegedly raping his 60-years-Old mother.

The accuse was reported to have committed the offence on August 23 in Ajebamidele Area of Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State.

The Prosecutor Ebenezer Ewuola told the Court that the accused assaulted and

inflicted injuries on one Isiaka Ojo who attempted to separate him from his mother during the act.

Claiming that the accused act in having carnal Knowledge of his mother 'forcefully

and unlawfully had led her mother to the hospital after the incident.

He said the offense contravened Section 358 of the criminal code laws of Ekitistate,2012.

The Magistrate, Mrs. Patricia Ajibade ordered the accused be remanded in Prison custody, pending the Director of Public Prosecution's legal advice and the case adjourned till October while the accused plea was not taken by the Court.
