The Rivers State Governor, Mr. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi in a bid to step up health care delivery to the people of his state, has brought US-based health mission of experts to treat people with glaucoma and cataract eye problems, and to render other sundry medical services.
CEOAFRICA news desk gathered according the statement of the Rivers State Commissioner for Health, Dr. Sampson Parker that the US-based health mission was in the state as part of Governor Amaechiās specialist manpower development initiative, instituted as a programme under the state Ministry of Health, to enhance health care delivery in the state.
The commissioner further highlighted that Amaechi-led administration, through the programme, gets medical experts from all over the world, to work with Rivers State government medical personnel, in delivering quality health care in the state.
