The Head of Civil Service of the Federation has declared the intention to restructure the Civil Service to ensure quality service delivery across the nation.

CEOAFRICA news desk gathered that the restructuring include decentralization of the activities in the Office of the Head of Civil Service to the various Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs)and clearly defining the functions of each MDA.

According to the Head of Civil Service of the Federation, Alhaji Bukar Goni, who stated that the head of service was being overloaded with activities which were meant to be handled by the various MDAs, the Federation had assigned activities in its office to their various MDAs.

He further noted that the restructuring, which started three months ago, allowed the Head of Civil Service to go round within peers to see what happens in the MDAs to improve service delivery.
