Segun Agbaje, the Managing Director/CEO of Guaranty Trust Bank plc has won the 2013 Banker of the Year-Africa by the World Financial Banking Awards.

According to CEOAFRICA.com findings from sources, the World Finance Banker of the Year – Africa Award is conferred on outstanding bankers who have achieved the most with regards to innovation, profitability and sustainability of their organization.

The category is one of the most sought after in Yearly Bankers Award and Agbaje was found worthy by the panel based on his reputation and recognition as a truly accomplished and highly respected banker locally and internationally.

While commenting on the award, Agbaje acknowledged the dedication of the management, staff and customers of the bank, and promised to always deliver to the best of his ability.
