The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has has given the PDP a deadline of September 17 to summit its list of candidate for the Anambra Governorship poll in November.

CEOAFRICA news desk gathered that although two candidates Dr. Andy Uba and Tony Nwoye emerged from parallel primaries conducted by two different factions of PDP, the INEC only recognized Uba from Ejike Oguebego faction of the PDP in Anambra State.

 INEC says it has reservation in endorsing Tony Nwoye forwarded by the National Chairman of the PDP, Alhaji Bamanga Tukur.

According to the letter which was signed by INEC Secretary, Mrs. Augusta C. Ogakwu, the INEC gave the PDP up till September 17 to resolve the stalemate and submit their candidate
