The Federal Government has on Monday agreed to meet the demands of the Polytechnics after a closed door meeting with the Academic Staff Union of Polytechnics.

CEOAFRICA had gathered that the meeting in which this agreement was reached was headed by Minister of State for Education, Nyesom Wike, and Labour Minister, Emeka Wogu while the union team was led by the ASUP President, Chibuzo Asomugha.

According to the source of this report, the union obtained a strong commitment from the government on the three key issues it tabled at the meeting.
