The Minister of State for Works, Mr. Bashir Yuguda has officially taken over as the Supervising Minister of National Planning.

The Office as would be recalled was one of the offices relieved of its occupant, Dr. Shamsuddeen lask week by President GoodLuck Jonathan.

Usman who left the commission commented at a brief ceremony in Abuja that he had he is happy that he had contributed his quota in restoring the credibility of the commission, urging the NPC members of staff to give his successor all the necessary support to succeed while also expressing confidence that the supervising minister would be successful.

Yuguda however promised to aggressively improve synergy with states government in the same manner the commission engaged the federal ministries, departments and agencies to achieve the transformation agenda of the government.
