DIAMOND BANK INCREASES CUSTOMER BASE THROUGH BUSINESS ENTERPRISE SEMINAR

Diamond Bank Plc declares to have increased its customer base by over 100,000 in the last four years through its successful business enterprise seminar across the country.

CEOAFRICA gathered that the bank commenced the business enterprise seminar in 2009 and has disbursed over N70 billion worth of loan.

The Segment Manager SME Proposition of Diamond bank, Cheta Agbo, disclosed this at the 36th series of the seminar organised by the bank in Lagos.

He said that Diamond business express seminar is part of the bank’s capacity building offerings to its customers and the Nigerian public at large.

Cheta noted that the objective is not only to offer financial services alone, but also offering them non financial services, adding that diamond bank has been giving loans of as much as N3 million to SMEs without collateral in the last four years.

He disclosed also that the bank is currently designing a certificate to be issued to participants of the seminar.

Speaking to journalists during the seminar, Olugbolahan Mark-George, one of the facilitators urged that people should endeavour to become expert and an authority in whatever area they found themselves.
