The Ministers affected by the recent cabinet reshuffle have been summoned on Tuesday by the Code of Conduct Bureau (CCB) to declare their assets.

CEOAFRICA has gathered this from the release by the Head of Public Affair of the bureau, Iyabo Akinwale, which also stipulates the ministers should do so without further delay.

The statement reads, “The CCB would like to remind all ministers recently relieved of their duties and who are yet to declare their assets on vacation of office, to do so in accordance with paragraph 11 of the 5th schedule part 1, to the 1999 Constitution, which provides that every public officer shall within three months, after coming into force of this Code of Conduct or immediately after taking office and thereafter- at the end of every four years; and  at the end of his term of office, submit to the Code of Conduct Bureau a written declaration of all his properties, assets, and liabilities and those of his unmarried children under the age of eighteen years.”
