From Yobe State, CEOAFRICA.com gathered that gunmen suspected to be members of Boko Haram sect attacked Buni Yadi, the headquarters of Gujba Local Government Area in the state around 9 p.m yesterday.

It was gathered from sources that the gunmen stormed the above-mentioned place and shoots sporadically with highly sophisticated weapons. They were also said to have escaped through a bush path, the same way they took the villagers unaware.

Several lives were lost, although official number of casualties could not be ascertained as at the time of filing this report.
