Technical School Graduates 440 in Eritrea

CEOAFRICA news reports from Eritrea that a total of 239 students who have been attending certified courses in Auto Mechanics, Construction, Drafting, Surveying, Electronics, Electricity, Metal works and Woodwork in Asmara Technical School have graduated.

Speaking at the graduation ceremony, the director of the school, Mr. Halefom Araya congratulated the graduating batch, and pointed out that the nurturing of such skills is vital in the nation-building process. He then urged them to serve the people with total dedication.

Also at the event, Mr. Tesfai Sium, from the Education Ministry’s head office lauded the school’s endeavors of incorporating theoretical and practical knowhow in the teaching-learning process.

Mr. Tesfai Sium stated that the government has been enhancing endeavours as regards human resource development, while a representative of the graduates expressed the readiness of members of the graduating batch to back national development endeavours.

The training took a period of two years.
