Oliseh unveiled as Super Eagles coach

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has unveiled former Super Eagles captain, Sunday Oliseh, as the new coach of the team. Oliseh was inaugurated earlier today, July 15, 2015 in Abuja.

The NFF president, Amaju Pinnick said, “We have just signed the Pep Guardiola of Africa and I believe he will succeed.”

Former player, Sunday Oliseh has signed a 3-year contract as the new head coach of Nigeria’s National team, Super Eagles.  

The new manager of the Nigerian national football team, while describing Oliseh said, “He is ready 150 per cent to serve his fatherland and give his best to uplift the team.”

Oliseh has been tasked with drawing up a five-year development plan that would transform the identity and style of the national teams.

However, his immediate task is to lead the Eagles to Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2017 in Gabon, with Nigeria currently lying second behind Egypt on goal difference, with Chad and Tanzania completing the group.
