The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Ondo State chapter has lambasted the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state for describing Governor Olusegun Mimiko’s administration as a government of propaganda.

It will be recalled that the APC chairman in the state, Mr. Isaac Kekemeke, had alleged that the Mimiko’s administration, performed below expectation since he has assumed office as the governor in the state, saying his administartion only embarked on propaganda to polish its “fanciful and ephemeral projects across the state”.

However, in a statement by the state PDP Director of Publicity, Mr. Ayo Fadaka, on Sunday, accused the APC at the national level of being ruling with deceit.

Part of the statement read, “Though we understand the fact that the Ondo State government’s continuing stride in spite of the economic recession currently being witnessed in the nation, as it continues to construct roads like the Isolo and Odokoyi roads in Akure and other parts of the state, the building of a modern abattoir equipped with essential equipment that compares with any of its kind in the Western world and the continuing relevance of the PDP in Ondo State should be giving Kekemeke and his party nightmares, it should not have driven the APC to this level of bitterness.

“We advise them to give attention to the ineptitude that have so far characterised the Buhari presidency that has yet to really take off almost 100 days after inauguration and do the needful to eschew the seeming incompetence and absolute lack of initiative that currently permeates governance at the federal level rather than to continue to chase shadows here.”
