Former Head of the Constitutional Court, Adly Mansour Sworn in As the New Interim President of Egypt

Report coming in from Cairo by CEOAFRICA news is that Head of the constitutional court, Adly Mansour has taken the oath of office as the Interim President of Egypt.

Speaking after his swearing-in, the interim President, Adly Mansour described his appointment as the wish of Egyptians, as he expressed his sincere acknowledged the efforts of those instrumental to the ouster of the former president, Mohammed Morsi.

“I wish to thank the Egyptian youths for being on top of the revolution that puts an end to tyranny. I salute the Armed forces for their courage and steadfastness to protect this nation. I also wish to salute the Egyptian judicial system for maintaining its true independent during the era of the last regime,” he said.

Furthermore, the Interim Egyptian President, Adly Mansour appreciates the Egyptian media for playing important role by disclosing to the people, bad behaviours of the former leader, as he promised to renew the strength of Egyptian by governing them according to the guideline of the constitution.

He promised to conduct Presidential and parliamentary election very soon.

However, CEOAFRICA has gathered that the deposed Egyptian President, Mohammed Morsi is being held by the authority and the leader of the Muslim Brotherhood Party has been arrested by the military, as arrest warrant was issued for 300 members of the party.
