Kwara United have recalled their head coach, Tunde Abdulrahman after seven weeks suspension.

This was contained according to a statement credited to supersport.

Abdulrahman was suspended on July 13, and his suspension was announced in Ilorin by the Permanent Secretary of the Kwara State ministry of Sports, Rhoda Ajiboye.

The former Wikki Tourists trainer was asked to step aside due to poor run of form, which saw United losing at home to Heartland, Enyimba and Sharks.

Abdulrahman was seen by supersport giving directives at United’s training ground on Friday before an official of the club confirmed that he had been recalled.

“Yes, he has been recalled, and he has been conducting training since Wednesday after the (Kwara State) government ordered that he must return.

“I think he has used the period of his suspension to rediscover himself and we are ready to work with him again,” a club official said to supersport.com.

Abdulrahman was expected to be in charge of Kwara United’s next tie at Nasarawa United.
