The Gambia Volleyball Association (GVA) president, Musa Casa Taal, has disclosed that the association is walking in very close relationship with NISA to develop and promote volleyball in the country.
The GVA boss speaking at the one-day volleyball championship organized by NISA in Gambia Fire and Rescue Service branch in Churchills town.
According to the statement by GVA president, most of the NISA teams are to play in the national league which is currently underway
CEOAFRICA news desk also gathered from his remarks that the tournament can also help volleyball teams to scout new players for their different teams, motivating more youngsters to build interest in the game.
He further reassures GVA support and collaboration with NISA in the development of volleyball in the Gambia, also stating that the security teams are dominating female volleyball in that many of the female teams are from the security forces.
Casa Taal however thanked NISA for organizing the tournament, encouraging them to keep up the momentum and also calling for togetherness for the promotion and development of the game in the country, with hopes that the league would soon consist of team from the regions.
