All the players invited for the 2014 World Cup playoff in Ethiopia are expected to report to training in Abuja on or before Tuesday, 8th of October to begin the preparation for the match.
This was announced by the Director of the technical department of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), who explained that early arrival is very important as the coach needs all the time available to do the work ahead of the game.
According to the report, Coach Stephen Keshi has call 18 players based in Europe and five from the domestic league for the qualifier on October 13, stressing that he would have fourdays to train with the players before they finally leave by noon on October 12.
However, the team is expected to be flown out of Abuja on a chartered flight to Addis Ababa on the eve of the match.
