Algerian athletes Kheireddine Ougour and Bachir Mourad won a silver medal each in their respective specialities on Wednesday at the 11th All Africa Games in Brazzaville.

Ougour ranked second in javelin throw (F42-44) with a total of 686 points and got the silver behind the gold-winner VCape Verdean Fernades Marico Miguel (890pts), while the bronze went to Nigerian Gbolahan Olaiya (657pts).

Mourad Bachir took the silver in shot put (F54-57) totalling 669pts, behind Cameroonian Gobe Christian Rene (723pts) and ahead of Nigerian Edosomwan Osahon (509pts).
