Group has frankly expressed their disappointment on the inability of President GoodLuck Jonathan to resolve the three-month ASUU strike.

The group which emanated from across the 33 local government area of Oyo State had come under the umbrella of Concerned Ministers Forum to expressed this through a released signed by its President, Reverend James Olusola Akande and Secretary General, Reverend Toye Adeyeye.

The ministers of God has described the industrial action as a sad reminder of bad governance, stressing that the current situation has revealed the intention of present leaders to sink the educational system as they did to the nation’s refineries.

“We have keenly observed that these leaders are planning to sink our universities and later lease them out to themselves in the name of privatisation,” the forum lamented.

The forum however concluded that the nonchalant attitude of the nation’s leaders to the present strike could not be unconnected with the fact that “our leaders have their children studying abroad and some in our neighbouring countries like Ghana and Togo.”
