Gov Muhammad approves Perm Sec

Bauchi State governor, Muhammad Abubakar has approved the immediate reshufflement of Permanent Secretaries in the state service, in its determination to reinvigorate and reposition the state civil service for a more result- oriented and purposeful service to the people of the state.

According to the statement issued yesterday by the Head of Civil Service of the state, Mr Abdon Dalla Gin indicates that the reshufflement was to improve service delivery in the state.

Among the new reshufflement carried out by the present administration showed that Abdu Shehu Ilelah and Hashimu Yakubu, formerly with the office of the Secretary to the State Government, have been posted to Ministry of Forestry and Environment and Ministry of Animal Resources and Nomadic Resettlement respectively while Alhaji Sadisu Usman and Mahmud Garba have been moved to SSG's office from Ministry of Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation and State Emergency Management Agency respectively.

Others include Ahmed Jarmajo Permanent Secretary General Administration in the Office of the Head of Service and Hashimu Dori from Establishment and Servicom Matters Bureau have been posted to BASEPA and Department for Local Government Affairs respectively while Alhaji Nuhu Wabi and Liman Bello have been transferred to the Office of the Head of Service respectively.

Meanwhile, the State Governor has approved the appointment of Alhaji Abubakar Gabi as the new Accountant General of the state, replacing Alhaji Adamu Gokaru, who was transferred to Ministry of Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation.

Until his appointment, Abubakar Gabi was a Deputy Director in the Federal Ministry of Finance, Abuja.

The appointed permanent secretaries have been directed to conclude all handing/taking over formalities on or before Tuesday October 6, 2015 and same should be communicated to the office of the Head of Civil Service.
