The Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi, has commiserated with Governor Isa Yuguda of Bauchi State and the entire Yuguda family over the death of the governor’s sister, Hafsat Yuguda Ibrahim.

To condole the Yuguda family, Oba Adeyemi sent a Royal Ambassador, Aare Ayandotun Ayanlakin, to Bauchi State to deliver the condolence message. The monarch in a statement in Ibadan on Tuesday, described the death of Hafsat as most unfortunate, coming at a time when her motherly advice and support were needed by the immediate and extended family members, particularly his brother, Governor Yuguda, who was very close to her.

He described the late Hafsat as “a loving woman, a dedicated housewife and a kind mother, who showed love to all while she was alive” adding that “she was more of a mother to us than a sister. We will miss her and her.”

He however  prayed Allah to grant her soul eternal rest and reward her with Al-Janat Firdausi, just as he prayed that Allah would grant the governor and other members of the family the fortitude to bear the irreparable lost and called on them to take solace in Allah, the giver and taker of life.
