Reports reaching CEOAFRICA is that no fewer than 40 persons have sustained various degree of injury during a bloody clash between rival factions of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Ogun state.

The fracas occurred around 4pm at the state Secretariat of the defunct Congress for Progressive Change (CPC), one of the legacy parties that fused into APC at Leme along Abiola, Abeokuta.

The party’s Secretariat which has been repainted in APC colour was damaged while some cars parked in the front were not spared as members of the factions used guns, cutlasses, broken bottles as well as other dangerous weapons freely during the clash.
