PRESIDENT GOODLUCK JONATHAN WITH SUPER EAGLES
President Goodluck Jonathan has met with the Super Eagles in Ethiopia ahead of their Sunday crucial first leg World Cup qualifier against Ethiopia.
The Nigerian president is currently in the country for the Extra-ordinary Summit of the African Union Heads of State and Governments and has used the opportunity to call on the Eagles before departing the Horn of African nation later Saturday (today).
President Jonathan however used the moment of his call to strengthen the team with his words of encouragement to ensure to do the nation proud in their quest to make next year’s World Cup finals in Brazil.
Earlier in the day, the super Eagles players were cheered by adoring fans as their plane touched Addis Ababa for the Sunday’s crucial World Cup qualifier against host Ethiopia.
