President Muhammadu Buhari is set to visit Abu Dhabi, in United Arab Emirates on Sunday 17th of January.

Sahara Reporters says that the president will be accompanied by eight ministers and 45 aides.

President Buhari is expected back into Nigeria on Tuesday, January 19.

It seems to be the president’s second international trip this year after the first one to the Republic of Benin penultimate week.

Buhari has already visited Chad, Niger, Germany, France (twice), Ghana, India, South Africa, Cameroon, Iran, and United States (twice).

Others on the president’s list are Benin Republic, Malta, and South Africa.

As it was reported earlier on each trip Buhari spent on average the sum of N100.8m which rounds up to about N1.4bn in total spread over fourteen trips.

The Nigerian leader has being criticized for not settling down to concentrate on the governance.

Garba Shehu, president’s media aide, recently defended his paymaster’s continuous trips.

A normal two-day long Buhari trip reportedly rates between $350,000 and $500,000.
