Turkish Airlines to commence Operations in Kano by December

CEOAFRICA.com gathered that the management of Turkish airlines has said it will begin operation in Kano state on December 12, 2013.

It was learnt that this was in response to the bid by the Kano state government to attract more foreign airlines to Kano International Airport.

Ahmat Can Akbuga, executive director of the company, while leading a delegation of the management team of the company to Kano government house said the general flight to the Northern Nigeria’s biggest commercial centre would start from Istanbul, capital of Turkey to the city, and leave from the city for N’djamena, Chad, and then back to Istanbul.

He said that the airline will operate four flight in a week, which are scheduled to run between Sunday, Saturday, Tuesday, and Thursday respectively.
