Governor Ajimobi of Oyo State has declared that his administration is one characterized by focus and peaceful administration.

He made this statement while hosting the leadership of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) in the state, as part of activities marking this year Sallah.

Governor Ajimobi highlighted that he designed a pyramid of development which would enhance the growth and economic prosperity of the state.

In his words, “We have ensured peace reigns in the state, while security of lives and property is guaranteed as well. The next thing is the provision of social infrastructure, such as good road network, qualitative education, hospitality, among others.”

He pointed out that when these were achieved, the state would have been on the path of reformation, restoration and repositioning, in line with the agenda of his administration.

He congratulated his administration that while other states were heavily indebted, he had not borrowed money to execute his, also lamenting the insufficiency monthly federation allocation being accrued to the state.
