FIFA U-17 World Cup: Golden Eaglets Faces Mexico Tomorrow

The Nigerian U-17 side, Golden Eaglets will begin their quest for the fourth world title tomorrow when they face the current world champions Mexico in their first match at the 2013 FIFA U-17 World Cup in United Arab Emirates.

The Manu Garba-tutored lads qualify as runner-up in the African Cup tournament where they lost via penalty to Ivory Coast in the final game played in Morocco.

The Nigerian U-17 side holds enviable records at the U-17 level, winning the tournament in 1985, 1993 and 2007. They were runner-up in 1987, 2001 and 2009.

The team are as solid as ever to do Africa proud with top scorer Isaac Success, Kelechi Iheanacho, Habeeb Makanjuola and captain Mohammed Musa leading the charge.
