CEOAFRICA gathered that the National Secretary of CAN, Rev.Hassan Asake while speaking at the inauguration of new executive members of the association in Osogbo has urged Nigerians across the country to vote out corrupt leaders in future elections.

Rev. Hassan said that only faithful leaders should be made to lead the nation. He also made it known that some elected members of the association have disappointed CAN through their alleged collaborations with others to ruin the Nation.

According to him, Christians have the right to choose faithful leaders into political offices, so he advised that proper evaluation of all contestants should be carried out before voting. He also urged Christians to be steadfast in times like this and take their stand when Nigeria is going through the most challenging time and Christians are facing serious persecution.

In his address, the state Governor, Mr. Rauf Aregbesola who was represented by his deputy, Mrs. Titilayo Laoye-Tomori at the occasion assured Christians in the state that the current administration will not do anything that will cause chaos in the state through religion.
