Five people were killed when a bomb exploded inside a bus at the Southern Russian City of Volgograd.

CEOAFRICA.com gathered from sources that a woman from Dagestan in the North Caucasus allegedly carry out the suicide attack.

It was further disclosed that over 20 people were injured in the attack which happened just after 10:00 GMT. The alleged suicide bomber was believed to be a partner of an Islamist militant.

North Caucasus has seen many attacks by Islamist militants in recent years.
