CEOAFRICA.com gathered from Ghana that two men were killed at separate locations in Bawku in the Upper East Region last weekend.
28-Year-old Hasmin Yakubu , and Osman Inusah were shot dead at Bawku and Bussum respectively.
Confirming the incident, the Bawku Divisional Police Commander, Chief Superintendent Ebenezer Kweku Asare, said Hasmin was shot and killed by unknown men who wielded AK 47 assault raffles at about 7:40 pm when he was having a chat with his girl friend in front of her house at Sagabo.
The Commander said from their preliminary investigation, Hasmin was a victim of circumstance because his assailants mistook him for another man who owed them and also stayed closer to Hasmin’s girl friend’s house.
It was gathered that Hasmin was shot in the neck and he died immediately. They also shot two other persons but they survived and are recuperating at a hospital.
On the other hand, Osman was killed by assailants who went to his house and shot him dead when he opened his door. He was rushed to a nearby hospital, but died in the theatre.
