As part of efforts to woo the aggrieved PDP governors from Kawu Baraje-led faction, leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) are now in Port Harcourt, Rivers State to meet with Governor Amaechi.

CEOAFRICA.com gathered that Governor Amaechi went to receive the APC leaders with his teeming supporters at the Port Harcourt International Airport, shortly after he arrived from Abeokuta, where he met with the former President, Olusegun Obasanjo.

Governor Amaechi welcomed APC National Leader, Sen. Bola Ahmed Tinubu, former head of state, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari and the National Chairman of APC, Chief Bisi Akande to Rivers State.

Though his supporters were initially restrained from joining the rally by the police, they were allowed when Amaechi came down from the convoy and ensure the gate was opened before trekking four kilometers back to the airport.
