The Minister of Information, Labaran Maku, has made a fervent appeal to the National Assembly to give priority to the completion of the Federal Government Printing Press in the 2014 budget.

Mr. Maku made the appeal on Tuesday in Abuja during an oversight visit by the House of Representatives Committee on Information to the Federal Ministry of Information.

He highlighted that the printing press as a key project of the ministry had received poor funding in previous budgets, noting that the completion of the printing press would ease a lot of difficulties encountered by government in the printing of documents and other materials.
