Nigeria- The suspended National Chairman of the New Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Abubakar Kawu Baraje has resigned his appointment as the Chairman of the Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC).

According to him, his decision to quit the job is as a result of the ongoing crisis in the party.

He said since the post was allotted to PDP and he no longer has confidence in the party’s leadership, it was better for him to resign.

Kawu however pledged his continued loyalty to the Goodluck Jonathan-led administration.
