LAGOS PORTS TO RECEIVE 80 SHIPS BETWEEN JULY AND AUGUST

The Nigerian Port Authority (NPA) has indicated in its daily publication “Shipping Position” on Wednesday, that 80 ships of diverse cargo is expected to sail into the Lagos ports from 17th July to 24th August.

According to the NPA news booklet, among the contents of the ship are; Bulk corn, Petroleum products, Bulk fertilizer, New and Used vehicles, Soda ash and Frozen fish and also indicated that some of the ships would be coming with Steel products, Bulk malt, Bulk salt, Bulk sugar, General Cargo, Bulk wheat, Containers and Crude palm-oil.

The report also alleged that two ships were waiting to discharge used vehicles and Bulk fertilizer while 10 fuel-laden ships were also waiting to come in and discharge petrol and aviation fuel.
