Following his tremendous performance for his French Lique1 side, Lille Metropole, Super Eagles assistant Captain and goalkeeper, Vincent Enyeama, has been voted the best player in the league for the month of October.

CEOAFRICA sports desk gathered that Enyeama beats Paris Saint Germain stars Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Edison Cavani to the title when he went 675 minutes without conceding a single goal.

Enyeama raked 71 per cent of the votes far ahead of Ibrahimovic, who scored 19 per cent and Cavani, 10 per cent. He will receive his trophy on Sunday before Lille clash with Toulouse in match day 14.

Having qualified for the 2014 FIFA World Cup, Enyeama is in the list of nominees for the 2013 CAF African Footballer of the Year award.
