The minister of Budget and National planning, Senator Udo Udoma has announced that Nigeria’s President and Grand Commander of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari will present the 2017 budget to the National Assembly next week.

According to ceoafrica, the announcement was made by the minister after the Federal Executive Council meeting in which he said the exact date and time for the budget presentation would be determined by the National Assembly.

Senator Udoma who gave minute details about the 2017 fiscal document, said it’s been well prepared to avoid the pitfalls that the 2016 budget encountered, adding that over 800 billion Naira had been released so far in the 2016 budget as capital projects with all recurrent expenditure.
