The fine form of Super Eagles Goalkeeper and Vice- Captain, Vincent Enyeama, continues in French League 1 over the weekend when he kept his twelft consecutive matches without conceeding a single goal in an home encounter which Lille won 1-0 against Toulouse.

Enyeama, who was presented with the best French league player award for the month of October before the commencement of the game, made series of wonderful saves to deny the opponents any means of robbing Lille the three points at stake.

A nominee for CAF’s African Footballer of the Year award, Enyeama was the stumbling block between Toulouse and success as he stood his ground to thwart several chances created by the visitors. First denying Wissam Ben Yedder's chest-height shot with ease(18'), Enyeama then worked the angles expertly to stop Issiaga Sylla's effort after some neat build-up play from dangerous Dane Martin Braithwaite (21').

However, the save of the game came after Lille had gone ahead courtesy Pape Souare’s header from a Balmont’s cross. Toulouse were awarded an injury time free-kick which was well taken by Clement Chantome and delivered at the edge of the six-yard box to Adrien Regattin, only for his goal-bound shot to be denied by Vincent Enyeama.

The win cements Lille’s second spot in the Lique 1 table behind PSG.
