LONDON- A British woman, Claire Duke, has been charged to court for defrauding top English Premiership Footballers, including Super Eagles and Cardiff City Striker, Peter Osaze Odemwingie, of over 70 thousand pounds.

The 38-year-old woman was alleged to have received money for holidays and flights from clients, but kept the money for herself.

It was gathered by CEOAFRICA sports desk that between September 1 last year and July 10 of this year, the woman made a total of 71,106.83 pounds fraudulently. She was also accused of using Odemwingie’s debit card to steal 15,437.67 pounds from his account.

She appeared at Cannock Magistrates’ Court in Staffordshire charged with five counts of fraud and one of theft.
